Rosa Wharton brings a vibrant, Caribbean soul to the Canadian textile landscape. This mixed-media artist and environmental scientist, originally from Barbados, infuses her work with a tropical sensibility and a meticulous hand. After moving to Canada in 2017, she honed her craft, earning an Honours degree in Textile Design. Her work is a celebration of color, texture, and form, where traditional techniques meet contemporary vision. Each piece is not just a fabric but a story, a wearable fragment of her journey that bridges the worlds of scientific precision and unrestrained artistic expression.
