Job Summary:
As a Social Media Intern at RunwayTo, you will be integral in elevating our brand’s presence and engagement across social media platforms. Working closely with the marketing team, you will contribute to developing and executing social media strategies, managing our Instagram and Twitter accounts, and launching and maintaining new platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in social media trends and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Oversee RunwayTo’s Instagram and Twitter accounts, ensuring regular, engaging updates with multimedia content including images, videos, and written posts.
• Content Creation: Develop visually appealing, high-quality content that aligns with the brand’s voice and values. This may include graphics, videos, and stories.
• Platform Expansion: Research and devise strategies for TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube to target specific audiences, while ensuring content resonates with each platform’s community.
• Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build an active and loyal audience.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track key social media metrics, analyze performance, and report findings to the marketing team. Use insights to enhance social media strategies.
• Trend Awareness: Stay informed about the latest social media trends and tools, ensuring RunwayTo stays ahead of the curve and maintains a competitive edge.
• Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to align social media content with broader campaigns and promotions.
• Campaigns & Contests: Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns and contests to increase engagement and brand visibility.
• Photography & Video Editing: Capture, edit, and enhance photos and videos to ensure consistent branding across platforms.
• Social Media Advertising: Support paid advertising efforts by assisting in the creation and management of social media ad campaigns.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field. Social media certifications or relevant courses are a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional) and content creation is advantageous, but not required.
• Creativity: Strong ability to generate fresh, engaging content ideas and strategies.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and familiarity with social media management tools.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing abilities to create compelling, concise social media copy and captions.
• Design & Editing: Basic skills in graphic design (using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop) and video editing (using tools like iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Adaptability: Willingness to stay flexible and adapt to evolving trends and platform algorithms.
• Passion for Fashion & Beauty: A genuine interest in fashion and beauty to create relevant, engaging content for our audience.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time and full-time options available
• Office-based

Duration:

• Minimum commitment of 4 to 6 months
